where did the name come from?
the first two meetings were held in a clerkenwell (london) bar called mint. they served absinthe. and various drinks with muddled or fresh mint. let’s say we got inspired…
in order to stay in touch, we decided to set up an e-groups group (which would later become yahoo groups). ‘mint’ was already taken as a group name but being 2000, everything was called ‘e-‘ something and we decided it would be funny to call it e-mint. yes, it was done tongue in cheek even then.
are there f2f meetings?
yes. london is the usual suspect but we do occasionally have meetings in other locales. please let us know where you’re located and we’ll see if we can help organise!
